Genealogy (Lov of the Hunt)

Hi fellow hunters.   How is your hunting?   Have u found any gr8 finds?  I want to keep you all updated on the status of the 1940 census indexing by Ancestry.com and Familysearch.org.   One is a paid subscription and the other is free.  Remember, you can access Ancestry.com from your local libraries.  Check their websites for further information such as day and times they are open.  Ancestry.com has 4 states indexed including Delaware, Nevada, DC and Maine.  Familysearch.org has more states available due to the fact that millions of volunteers are helping them to index.   You can check periodically what states are indexed by going to their website.   Today, the following states are 100% indexed:   AL, AZ, CO, DE, FL, HI, ID, KS, LA, MS, NV, NH, OR, UT, WY, VA.   Good luck and have fun.   cga
